USEFUL INFORMATION
The Big Day

The wedding venue, Larchfield Estate, is a rural location set in the heart of the rolling County Down countryside, Northern Ireland and only 20 minutes from Belfast.

The ceremony will begin at 1pm and we kindly ask guests to arrive from 12:30pm to allow time to be seated.

If the weather is kind the ceremony will be outside in the estate gardens. This will be followed by a drinks reception, the wedding breakfast, then music and dancing until 1am.

The Day After
IMG-0045.jpeg

For anyone who is around on Sunday 28th, the day after the wedding, we have an area booked at The Duke Of York in Belfast city centre from 3pm (thanks to Aidan for organising this!). This is the pub:

Duke Of York

7-11 Commercial Ct,

Belfast

Please be aware the Duke of York doesn't serve food so you may wish to eat before, or there are plenty of places nearby to grab a quick bite in between the post wedding socialising. Everyone is welcome to either pop in for one pint or come and spend the afternoon (and maybe evening?) with us.

Visiting Northern Ireland

We will be in Northern Ireland for a week before the wedding, mostly situated on the North Coast, in and around Coleraine, Portrush and Portstewart. If anyone else is also planning on making a longer trip, do let us know as we may organise a few events/social occasions throughout the week for anyone that wishes to join.

For those making a trip of it to the Emerald Isle before or after the wedding, check out discovernorthernireland.com for things to see and do.

The stunning scenery and beaches alone are worth taking a long drive or hike to savour. There are castles like Dunluce Castle and natural wonders like the Giant's Causeway to see, music, nightlife, arts and culture to enjoy. TV and film fans can take a 'Game of Thrones' tour. For whiskey lovers, you must take a tour of Bushmills Distillery! Those interested in the history of Norn Iron can book the Titanic Visitor Experience or a Black Taxi Tour for a unique insight into Belfast's troubled past (highly recommended!) and after all is seen and done... a wee pint of Guinness.
